Vikings nearing five-year contract with Henderson
The Vikings are expected to sign linebacker E.J. Henderson to a five-year contract worth more than $25 million later today, according to a source close to the situation.
Scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, Henderson leads the team with 108 tackles, and he also has three sacks and two interceptions.
Barring a last-minute snag, Henderson's deal includes $10 million in guarantees.
Henderson was originally a second-round pick out of Maryland in 2004.
