McKinnie to return

Vikings LT Bryant McKinnie, who has been on the physically unable to perform list, is expected to practice for the first time this training camp on Wednesday.

Veteran Artis Hicks has filled in for him up to this point.

Hey Sean! Love the blog, keep it up. My question: How has Artis Hicks looked so far? Do you think the right side of the line will improve enough to be able to hold up against a tough defense? Having gotten a big contract, how is McKinnie looking? Has he stayed at a good playing weight?

Matt,

To be fair, Artis has not looked good. It's a tough position to play, and it shows why the Vikes spent so much money to keep McKinnie.

Hi Sean:

How has the right side of the Oline looked, and can you tell us how the WR are doing especially Williamson?

Williamson has looked solid. He has made some tough catches. But keep in mind, he had a good training camp last year and played quite well in the first few games. Then... Well, we all know what happened.

Sean, Any information on how the defensive ends are doing? Is Edwards the real deal and is does Scott have a chance to start on the left side ?
