McKinnie responds to Chiefs rookie

Bryant McKinnie dismissed a disparaging remark made by a Kansas City Chiefs rookie defensive end about the Vikings offensive tackles.

During a broadcast of the HBO Series "Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Kansas City Chiefs," rookie defensive end Turk McBride said to a veteran teammate, "Their tackles are terrible. Everyone is soft."

Told of the comment, McKinnie said, "Oh please.

"That’s surprising," McKinnie said. "But we get to play them again this year. So we’ll see. I’m going to remember that, though."

The Vikings and Chiefs play on Sept. 23, in Kansas City.

Asked if that comment will motivate his unit, McKinnie said, "I don’t know what they’re going to do. But I know what I’m going to do."

And what "you're going to do" is go have yourself three Big Macs, right?

My guess is "I know what I'm going to do" means get flagged for about four false starts, three holdings, and let his guy sack TJack two or three times. That's what he usually does.
