Another fine Friday

Defensive end Kenechi Udeze was fined $7,500 by the NFL for striking Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre in the head last Sunday at the end of a third-quarter scramble.

Udeze was hit with a 15-yard, unnecessary roughness penalty on the play.

Also, Packers defensive tackle Corey Williams was fined $7,500 for a roughing-the-passer penalty for unnecessarily throwing quarterback Brooks Bollinger to the ground.

Packers cornerback Al Harris was not fined for the hit on which running back Adrian Peterson injured his right knee.

Injury report: Peterson is the only player who is definitely out of Sunday's game against Oakland.

Wide receiver Sidney Rice (hamstring) and safety Eric Frampton (groin) are questionable.

Everyone else is probable and expected to play.

Don, that's bullshit. Udeze barely touched him, and he never touched his helmet. You have to allow the defensive player to stop a guy whose trying to make you look like a horses ass. Udeze did nothing wrong and should appeal to the league. Did Klink call the league office to complain?

WHO CARES ABOUT FINES OR WHO IS PLAYING OR NOT THIS SUNDAY. THE VIKINGS ARE AS BAD AS THEY HAVE EVER BEEN IN THE HISTORY OF THE FRANCHISE. IN A FEW YEARS THIS COACH AND MOST OF THESE PLAYERS WILL BE GONE. I'LL BE A FEW YEARS OLDER STILL WAITING FOR THE VIKINGS TO ERASE THE LOSER TAG STMAMPED ON THEM BY FOUR SUPERBOWL LOSES A HAILMARY PASS AND AMISSED FIELDGOAL. BLOG,BLOG,BLOG, THIS FRACHISE WILL ALWAYS BE JUDGED BY THOSE LOSES. WHO CARES ABOUT THE DETAILS WEEK OR THIS SEASON. I JUST WANT THE VIKINGS TO BE A WINNER

I thought it was pretty obvious that Udeze was trying to avoid Brett Favor on that play. It should be appealed.

Holy crap jv,
Calm down. Yes, the Vikings have been playing like crap lately, and yes, I'm tired of never winning the big one. But, they were a pretty good team just to get to 4
Super Bowls, and were consistantly in the playoffs during the 80-90's.
Yesterdays game would have been a blowout, if we could have held the ball a little better. Maybe there is hope on the not too distant horizon??
