Jeremy Green clarifies comments

Jeremy Green was surprised to create a ruckus over a chat he had on

Pro Football Talk posted that Green, the director of NFL scouting for ESPN and Scout’s Inc., admitted during a chat on that the Vikings pumped in crowd noise during the 1990s. That would be significant since his father is Dennis Green, the longtime Vikings head coach.

But Jeremy Green told the Pioneer Press that he was simply stating an opinion.

"I’ve been to 60 some games (at the Metrodome)," Green said. "My opinion is, they pipe in crowd noise. I’m not saying I have factual information, or documents, or that my dad ever told me that."

Pro Football Talk brought this up because there are reports that the New England Patriots were accusing the Indianapolis Colts of fabricating noise at the RCA Dome Sunday.

How many times in the 90's did we hear the Viking fans are the loudest in the NFL. Funny how it doesnt come up much after Green left.
