Bears pair fined


Two Bears players were fined by the NFL for penalties in Monday night's 20-13 loss to the Vikings.

Linebacker Lance Briggs was fined $5,000 for a roughing-the-passer penalty on quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.

Cornerback Charles Tillman was fined $7,500 for a horse-collar tackle.

Penalty would not have stood for much @ game Half the dist. to goal but No flag was thrown at penalty. Yet league still Fines player?

How does The Rule Book Read were might i Read it for myself?

Sorry honorvike, I did not see this play during the game, must have missed it.

Yes, sometimes an official will miss something during a game, but the player can still be fined for it. Go tool around NFL.com and you may find some info.
