Rain, Rain...

Mother Nature apparently isn't a Vikings fan. Brad Childress brought another morning practice indoors. Fans filed into Myers Field House to watch another sedated walk-through. Luckily, this morning's practice was supposed to be in shorts.

According to weather.com, the afternoon should clear up, with partly cloudy skies. That means the 2:45 to 5 p.m. practice in pads should be outside.

Now back to you Roger and Suzie...

Ask coach Childress if he would like me to get a restraining order against Mother Nature.....ha - Being fron South Dakota myself it's kind of cool that there could be 2 starting LB's from SDakota starting. Leber & Greenway, their hometowns are only about 120 miles from each other, kind of cool. Sean- who has the edge Tank Williams or Dwight Smith?? Got to love our DB depth.... Now where's my robe??

Why is it that not one reporter watched the defense for any significant period of time? Why are there no quotes from D-coordinator Tomlin? I'm much more interested in what the new Tampa-2 defense looks like as opposed to how the new nickel and dime west-coast offense looked. Booooorrrriinnnnggg. About as boring as Childress during his press conferences.

Colin, Tomlin wasn't available last night, per team rules. And I only have one set of eyes, so I tuned into the offense last night. Don't worry, I won't neglect the defense.

Your honor, I have to give the edge right now to Dwight because Tank hasn't made as many plays. Keep in mind Dwight knows this system, so he's got a distinct advantage.
