Preseason sked set
Dates and times for the Vikings' preseason schedule have been finalized.
Here's the list, with Central time kickoffs in parentheses:
Aug. 10: St. Louis (7 p.m.)
Aug. 17: at NY Jets (7 p.m.)
Aug. 25: at Seattle (8 p.m.)
Aug. 30: Dallas (7 p.m.)

Unfortunately, this might be the most exciting portion of the Vikings season. At least they should be competitive in the preseason, at least in the fourth game when neither team plays its starters. Luckily for the Vikes, they don't employ starters.
Sorry for the negative cheap shot, but I am not encouraged with the direction of the team. I really hope they make me look like a fool when the season start. That would make me a lot happier than being right, but I smell a 3 and 13 season coming around the bend.
