Gridiron gallop
The Vikings will hold their inaugural Gridiron Gallop, a 5K fun run/walk, Sunday at Lake Nokomis.
Minneapolis mayor R.T. Rybak will serve as official starter for the event, proceeds of which will go to Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board youth athletic programming, and Vikings players and cheerleaders will be on hand to sign autographs.
Cost is $25 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.
Check-in and registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Lake Nokomis Bath House or can be done online at vikings.com.
