Rice nearing agreement
The Vikings are expected to finalize a deal to ensure Sidney Rice is in place to practice Saturday. Rice, a second-round pick, has been in the Twin Cities, awaiting word from his agents on his contract status.
The Vikings and Rice's agents, Ethan Lock and Eric Metz, made significant strides Friday.

Although signing Rice is good, we still have a weak group. Any chance of adding another veteran receiver?
I suspect AP will be used in the slot more than people think....
Well, McCardell and Moulds just signed in the last few days. Not sure who is left on the street.
