Vikings trade for Holcomb
The Vikings have traded for veteran Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kelly Holcomb.
Compensation is an undisclosed 2009 draft pick. The Eagles were originally seeking a fifth- or sixth-round pick.
The move comes two days after veteran backup Brooks Bollinger struggled in Seattle, throwing two interceptions, including one that was returned 39 yards for a touchdown.
