Tough love

As natural a talent as Adrian Peterson is, some credit for his development goes to running backs coach Eric Bieniemy, who tried to recruit the future Oklahoma star to UCLA as a high school senior.

"Right now he's coaching and he's coaching him hard," coach Brad Childress said. "I like that and the kid has responded to that. He's not looking at him like he just set the rushing record. As a matter of fact, on Saturday morning in here, Eric was getting after him in the walk-through."
