Vikings set team record

The Vikings set a team record with three interception returns for a touchdown.

The NFL record is four in 1984.

Darren Sharper, Dwight Smith and Chad Greenway all have touchdowns, and the Vikings are up 41-10 with nine minutes left.

I've been cynical all year. That was a fun game to watch! Could this possibly be the turn around that is needed?

I agree, Mark. They have a shot at the 2nd Wild Card spot. Their upcoming opponents are beatable, for the most part.

Also, TJ finally showed some improvement.

I've been pretty damned critical, and the team actually looked well coached. We were due to have a game when receivers actually caught the slants on third down, but TJ did look off a safety and then throw an accurate ball. I also like what the OL has been doing.

In a perfect world one out of Udeze/James/Edwards would be a 15 sack guy, but if we have to blitz to get pressure, so be it. I'd rather go down swinging, though, than have the death by a thousand cuts pass defense.

Of course, it would certainly help TJ if he had a bona fide no. 1 guy to throw to. Rice looks solid, but we should have had a real No. 1 going into this year.

Could you imagine if we still had Moss. Red still has his thumb print on this team.

I love my Vikes, but they have a habit of being up and down. They clearly caught Eli on a bad day and played well but all it will take is for the Lions to watch the tape on how we threw differnt D looks and adjust in advance. My guess is they'll lose another we should win very soon.
