Wade practicing, not Winfield

Wide receiver Bobby Wade (knee) returned to practice today and is participating in the early drills.

Cornerback Antoine Winfield (hamstring) was missing during the portion that is open to the media and could be replaced by rookie Marcus McCauley in Sunday's game against San Diego.

Wide receiver Troy Williamson, who missed the last two days while attending a funeral, and quarterback Kelly Holcomb (neck) were the only other absent players.

The Vikings will declare the status of all players on their afternoon injury report so check back later for an update.
