Vikings avoid blackout
The Vikings barely beat the deadline, but they have indeed sold out again.
Steve LaCroix, the Vikings vice president of sales and marketing, said Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers will be televised locally WCCO TV and that the television station has guaranteed the purchase of the approximate 700 tickets still available as of late this morning.
Tickets are still available for public purchase through Ticketmaster.
It is the Vikings' 100th consecutive sellout.

ONCE AGAIN... THE VIKINGS AVOIDED A BLACKOUT THANKS TO ANOTHER CORPORATION. TOO BAD THE BANDWAGON IS NEVER FULL. IT'S EASY TO HOP ON AND OFF AT THE DROP OF A HAT. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE JUST ONE SUNDAY OR WHENEVER THEY PLAY AND IT'S NOT A SELL OUT FOR THE VIKINGS TO HAVE A BLACKOUT. GO TO GREEN BAY... YOU'LL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SEEING A PACKER GAME ON TV. THEY'RE ALWAYS A SELLOUT...50DEGREE BELOW ZERO WINDCHILL, SNOW STORMS, WE DON'T CARE. VIKING FANS SHOULD TAKE LESSONS FROM PACKER FANS AND FIND OUT WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A TRUE FAN.... NOT A "FAIR WEATHER FAN".
