Alexander signs contract

Linebacker Rufus Alexander, the Vikings' sixth-round pick, has agreed to terms on a four-year deal. Terms of the deal were not announced.

The Vikings also released S Jeremy Burnett, LB George Hall and WR Paris Hamilton.
