Busy week for Peterson
The Vikings didn't make it to the Super Bowl, but rookie running back Adrian Peterson has a full schedule here in Phoenix.
This afternoon, he will participate in a press conference for Financial Football, an instructional program that introduces high school-aged students to investment strategies.
Wednesday, Peterson will join Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Eagles running back Brian Westbrook for another media event to promote three new hamburgers for Chili's Bar and Grill.
Last but not least, Peterson is one of five finalists for this year's Diet Pepsi rookie of the year award, which will be announced Thursday.

I live in Phx area and am ex pres and founder of an Illinois Vikes fan club. Moved here in 98 after 15-1 season and because of loss. I haven't had as much hope or admiration for a Vikes player since Carter left. Can you tell me what time these media events are that are coming up and where; I obviously missed today. If I don't meet him I just want to shout out "YO ADRIAAAAAAN". He gives me hope that maybe we can win a championship before we lose him too! GO VIKES!!!! Thanks for any info- a fellow Norseman (actually Norsewoman).
