Drew Bennett expected to sign with Rams
The St. Louis Rams are finalizing a deal with WR Drew Bennett, according to a league source.
The Vikings were believed to be interested in Bennett, who spent his first six NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans. His best season was 2004, when he caught 80 passes for 1,247 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Bennett is 6 foot 5, 206 pounds. He will be a nice complement to Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce in the Rams' potent offense.
