Sitting pretty

With their top five draft choices still unsigned, including No. 1 pick Adrian Peterson, the Vikings have some contractual work to do before players report to training camp July 25, but they aren't hurting for cash.

In fact, according to figures compiled by ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli, the Vikings are $20.076 million under the salary cap.

That's the third-highest total in the NFL, behind only Cleveland ($21.968 million) and Buffalo ($21.053 million).

Hey Sean,

Would you please comment on how the current crop of Viking assistant coaches contrasts with the coaches on previous regimes under Tice and Green?
