Harris to Chiefs
Former Vikings LB Napoleon Harris has agreed to terms on a six-year contract worth $24 million with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Vikings never aggressively tried to re-sign the middle linebacker, despite his solid play last season, after re-signing E.J. Henderson to a long-term deal late in the season.
Harris also visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Harris received a $7.5 million signing bonus and is scheduled to collect $13 million over the first three years.

Good for him. It's too bad the Vikes let him go. Now all we have left from the Moss trade is an infinitely worse WR...
Amazing, the only thing that kept the Viking's from being the best defense in 2006 is good Line Backers. But Mr. Childress this off season let's Napoleon Harris go, and didn't even make a move to try on signing Porter or Thomas instead he goes for I don't even know his name from Carolina. And let's stay away from comments on signing WR or QB. So long 2007 season the only good thing is going to be the departure of Childress.
