Quinn workout

Vikings coach Brad Childress and vice president of player personnel Rick Spielman were among an estimated 65 NFL scouts and coaches in South Bend, Ind., today to attend Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn’s pro day workout.

NFL.com’s Gil Brandt reported that Quinn participated in passing drills only and had a good workout, showing good velocity and anticipation.

Quinn will run for teams at Notre Dame’s second pro day on March 22.

The Vikings have said they would seriously consider using their first-round draft choice on Quinn if he falls to them at the seventh overall selection.

Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis ran the passing drills during the workout, which was held indoors on FieldTurf.

Why would we go and consider drafting another project QB? Did we already lose faith in Tarvaris?

I mean we are really trying hard to get any talent that will actually impact the team right away, not to mention we're still 2 starting WR's short.

We either are preparing something big or setting up to lay 1 huge turd. I hope they plan on getting CJ or something because, so far this has been an embarrassing offseason. Lifetime backup TE will start, he doesn't block all that well he's not even close to an upgrade over Wiggins he certainly isn't much faster.

I highly doubt most people
would consider Quinn a project QB.
He has played at a "Big Time" University, has had coaching from a Pro-Style Coach, and was a Heisman Finalist. As far as having lost faith in Tavaris, obviously you must not have seen the games he played in last year. Enough said!
