Byrd arrested in Los Angeles

Rams tight end Dominique Byrd was arrested last weekend on suspicion of driving under the influence in Los Angeles, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Byrd, who played at Southern California, was arrested at 2:34 a.m. Sunday morning and released Sunday night.
A third-round draft choice by the Rams in the 2006 draft, Byrd played in five games last season and caught two passes for 39 yards, including a 27-yard touchdown.

Byrd is from Minneapolis and attended Breck.
