Curtis in Tennessee
WR Kevin Curtis is visiting with the Tennessee Titans today, Scout.com is reporting.
Not sure if a decision will come today or not.
But as I indicated last night, the Titans could hold the advantage right now.

According to the Scouts Inc. list of free agents (including restricted free agents) Kevin Curtis was the 41st best player at the beginning of Free Agency. If the Vikes sign him, that would be an enormous jump past the guys they have signed so far (Wade 201, Shiancoe 282, and Ciurciu 331).
As how the offensive woes of the team were due to the players not being skilled enough (according to the head coach), I don't see this offensive coaching staff being able to put a close to average product on the field. I think a great offensive mind calling plays and making in game adjustments to the defense can make up for a lack of talent on the field, but not a guy who has never been a head coach or called plays in the NFL trying to do it from the sideline. Maybe the defense will make the games interesting, but the offense will continue to be pathetic with the current set up. I really hope ownership steps up and forces Childress to give up play calling responsibilities next season.
Curtis is being awfully choosy for a career #3 WR. I guess you can do that when 5 different teams are all knocking at your door, regardless of your past output. I'm not sure if he's worth all of this commotion, though I'd certainly welcome him to a team that is paper thin at the wideout spot.
Interesting article by Mr. Jensen on Bobby Wade today. It'd kinda suck to be signed by a new team and have a whole sports base mad about your arrival. Maybe he can shut those people up (including myself). I'm not mad about his signing, there really wasn't that much to choose from.
I read on Scout.com that the Vikings are interested in bringing in a RB for a vist. Any idea who it is?
Has Ian Scott, Cato June, or Nick Harper arranged a visit yet?
I agree with Shane, Cildress needs to stop calling plays, he is awful.
Hopefully Spielman is on the phone with Travis Taylor right now. He certainly isn't great, but he is the best that is left.
The Jensen article on Wade sure makes him easy to root for. It seems like he has a refreshing attitude for a wide receiver.
As for your questions ct mike, I have only seen that Ian Scott is supposed to visit later in the week.
The running back the Vikes are setting up a visit with is Chris Henry of Arizona for a predraft workout.
Thanks, Shane for that info. I have a hunch Chilly will move more towards a 2 back system next year as well. I know he likes getting guys lathered up, but a big back like Henry would be a sweet complement to Chester Taylor.
As for Curtis, I think it's a good sign that the Titans announced Harper's signing, but nothing about Curtis. If they both struck deals today, I'm sure they'd want to announce the signings together.
Another update. Adam Schefter on NFL.com is implying that the Titans may sign Curtis. He says a decision may come early tomorrow.
After reading John Clayton's article on compensatory draft picks, I'm left wondering if the Vikings are trying to come out of this FA season having lost more players (and better players) than those they've signed.
I know it wouldn't affect the draft until 2008, but one has to wonder.
