Texans eyeing Quinn?
The Vikings have been uncharacteristically open about their interest in Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn, but there are no guarantees he'll be there for the taking with the seventh selection of the April 28-29 NL draft.
ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli, citing league sources, reports that the Houston Texans have been talking to teams about trading up from the eighth spot to take Quinn and might already have an arrangement with the Washington Redskins, who pick sixth.

great, there goes the excitemnt for next year. They will probably draft Jamaal Anderson and he will be awful.
Yeah, I have serious doubts about Jamaal Anderson's motor and work ethic. There are not many things less useful than a lazy defensive end.
At least Quinn would be a very interesting story line even if he doesn't develop into a top notch quarterback, with I think he will. If Quinn, Peterson, and CJ are gone, I really hope the Vikes can trade down from 7.
If the Browns end up wanting Quinn, it looks too risky for them to trade down. But, what about the Bucs? They just lost DeWayne White. If they think their WR corps is cool, or if they add someone (Randy Moss?) then they may decide to trade down and get a bad ass DE (or LeRon Landry, who is supposed to be a good cover-2 style safety), then maybe they'll trade with us for CJ.
All a bunch of ifs, but CJ is still very possible.
Why not do what it takes to get CJ? Send Williamson and our 2nd rounder with some future middle rounders. The guy can straight out play, and wow, has a great attidude and history.
